LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Two area law firms have announced that they will be seeking damages from UPS following the deadly crash of UPS 2976.

Nine people were killed and 11 injured after a UPS MD-11 freighter crashed and exploded shortly after takeoff from Louisville. The NTSB and FAA are investigating, with early focus on a possible engine separation.

Video showed flames on the plane’s left wing and a trail of smoke. The plane then lifted slightly off the ground before crashing and exploding in a huge fireball.
