Typhoon Kalmaegi was barrelling on Thursday morning toward Vietnam after leaving a trail of destruction in the Philippines.

Typhoon Kalmaegi killed at least 140 people after unleashing devastating flooding across the central Philippines, with more than 100 missing.

The national disaster agency reported that over 400,000 people have been displaced by the catastrophe in Cebu, a province with a population of about 2.5 million.
