Digest more
The Denver Broncos, led by quarterback Bo Nix, face the Los Angeles Chargers, led by quarterback Justin Herbert, on Sunday, Sept. 21, 2025 in Week 3 of the NFL season at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.
The Los Angeles Chargers' 2-0 start is being fueled by a defensive secondary that leads the NFL in coverage grade.
James, however, wasn’t the only NFL player fined for a “leg whip” tackle. Dallas Cowboys tight end Brevyn Spann-Ford was fined $5,370 for the same action, while Tampa Bay Buccaneers tackle Charlie Heck was charged $8,722.

Chargers vs. Broncos: What LA must do on offense to win the game in Week 3
The Chargers and Broncos face off in Week 3 in a contest that could have major playoff implications. Los Angeles is already 2-0 with divisional wins over the Chiefs and Raiders, while the Broncos are 1-1 and will be looking to stop the Bolts from sprinting out to more of a lead in the AFC West.
In improving to 2-0 with their second consecutive AFC West victory, the Chargers totally subdued the Las Vegas Raiders in a 20-9 domination. The defenses harassed Raiders' quarterback Geno Smith all night, intercepting him three times, sacking him three more times and limiting him to just 24 completions on 43 attempts.
The Chargers have looked impressive in wins over the Chiefs and Raiders, and win over the Broncos could be a springboard to a very strong season.
