Mac Jones continues winning the trust and belief of his 49ers teammates after San Francisco's thrilling Week 3 victory over the Arizona Cardinals.
Mac Jones told reporters after Sunday's win over the Cardinals that he aggravated a PCL sprain that he initially suffered this summer. Jones was clearly affected by the injury during the game, but he remained in for the entire contest.

Jones threw an interception with the game tied in the fourth quarter against the Cardinals when he fired a pass downfield to Ricky Pearsall that was picked off by Dadrion Taylor-Demerson. A few minutes later San Francisco took a safety to fall behind, but Jones was able to lead a game-winning drive in the final minutes.
When Jones came back on the field in the final period, he wore a brace on his left knee, threw a touchdown pass and directed a two-minute drill for a last-snap field goal that gave the 49ers a 16-15 victory on Sunday.
With Jauan Jennings missing from the lineup, Jones targeted either Christian McCaffrey or Ricky Pearsall on 26 of his 38 pass attempts.
