Star quarterback Patrick Mahomes' winning mentality was on full display as he led the Kansas City Chiefs past the New York Giants 22-9 on Sunday Night Football for their first victory of the season.

With one awful play and awesome recovery, Mahomes reminded the league that he is still the same three-time champ and all-time great.

Cris Collinsworth, who has been known to enjoy watching Mahomes play football, rightfully loved what the QB did in that moment: "I can't tell you how good of a play that is. So many quarterbacks would have done nothing here." Collinsworth said. "Not only did he save the touchdown but he also got the ball back."
