The Grizzlies' struggles have coincided with internal issues. Star point guard Ja Morant voiced his displeasure with the coaching staff after an Oct. 31 loss against the Los Angeles Lakers, then he was suspended for a game against the Toronto Raptors on Nov. 2 for conduct detrimental to the team.

Perhaps the Memphis Grizzlies will eventually trade Ja Morant this season. And perhaps such a deal will involve the Houston Rockets.
