The United States returned to standard time this weekend, reigniting debate over whether the country should end its practice of changing clocks twice a year.

Daylight Saving Time, the practice of moving clocks forward one hour in the summer and then back again in the fall, has come to an end.

A sound extra hour of sleep Saturday night won’t hurt, either.
