Car companies love a mission statement. With the arrival of the Concept C, Audi’s new one is crystal clear: “radical simplicity”. An all-electric two-seater with a retractable folding hard-top, the Concept C is a “progressive interpretation” of the company’s legacy, says Audi—and it's not hard to see the TT has factored pretty heavily in that.

German carmaker Audi pulled the wraps off the Concept C two-seater sports car in roadster form, it previews a production model.

A series of panels and louvers meet along the roof, including a rear window would be on a more conventional car. One of those panels is a removable roof, which makes the Concept C a hardtop roadster. The rounded rear end features two thin tail lights, which mirror the shape of the headlights at the car's nose.
