The Dawgs overcame the Gators late in Jacksonville, winning 24-20 to go to 7-1 on the season. They stayed put at No. 5 in the AP top-25.

The unbeaten Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (7-0) jumped up to No. 7 in the polls this week and host a Syracuse Orange (3-4) squad that has lost three straight games on homecoming weekend in Atlanta.
