With Billy Edwards still sidelined, and Hunter Simmons struggling, Luke Fickell is making a quarterback change against the Washington Huskies.

The Wisconsin Badgers delivered the best moment of their 2025 season to date on Saturday, defeating No. 24 Washington 13-10.

Wisconsin was trampled 21-7 in the rain last time out Oct. 25, but it did cover as a 31-point underdog as the Under (44.5) cashed. QB Hunter Simmons threw for 86 yards and a TD, while TE Lance Mason was the touchdown recipient.

Kinziger, Wisconsin’s top recruit in the Class of 2025, was a star at De Pere High School and came in with the potential to play early. But, through the Badgers’ first two games, it has been fellow freshmen Hayden Jones, Will Garlock, and Aleksas Bieliauskas in the rotation instead.

After taking a one-goal lead midway through the third period, Wisconsin allowed four unanswered goals in Ann Arbor, Mich. and lost, 7-4, to Michigan.

Wolverines battled back in a scoring frenzy, snatching the lead and silencing Wisconsin's perfect season with late empty-netters.
